Silly formed hose? Say what? Yep, Volkswagen loved to use unnecessarily complicated formed cooling hoses on their vehicle cooling systems. These proprietary hoses had unusual bends, and oftentimes different inlet and outlet sizes. They are a weak point just asking for trouble a problem waiting in plain sight.
