2-D Adjustable HingesWhite / Set Hinge

The shifting of walls and floors can cause challenges in opening and closing door and shutter panels. Our 2-D Adjustable Hinge offers a simple solution, allowing for a 2mm horizontal adjustment and a 3mm vertical adjustment with a single turn of the screw. These hinges are reversible and non-handed, featuring durable, maintenance-free bearings.

There are two types of adjustable hinges for each door/shutter panel:

A) Set Hinge: Only one per panel is necessary. This is the hinge that has 3mm of vertical adjustment.

B) Guide Hinge: A minimum of two per panel is needed. These are the hinges that have 2mm of horizontal adjustment.

The guide hinges float up and down with the adjustment of the set hinge to prevent hinge binding.

Using a Phillips Screwdriver, first adjust the panel up or down by turning the screw marked V on the set hinge. When turning the screw in the direction of the arrow (counter clockwise) the other leaf will be pushed in the direction of the arrow. Automatic screwdrivers are not recommended. The speed of the gun may strip the heads if the screws are over adjusted.

When the vertical adjustment is turned clockwise, the non-adjustable leaf will move in the direction of the arrow. The vertical adjustment has 32 turns from its extremes, and the horizontal has 7 turns.

Adjust the horizontal by turning clockwise to increase the margins. Turn counter clockwise to decrease the margins.
